6 months in!!
Thought I would mark six months in spain by writing a blog, first one in ages.
So,, what has happened? the very long summer has come and gone, the boys had 12 whole weeks of holiday. absolute hell!!! (Heaven for them I suppose). We found a local summer school, and they did 3 weeks there. which helped a great deal, and they really loved it.
Daniel has really taken to the pool, and now jumps in (with a rubber ring, he can't swim without yet) incessantly. Joe isn't interested at all.
They are back a school now, and have a new teacher who they seem to like better than the last one .
As for the house, well STILL no progress. We have had a completely incompetent architect, not in design but in communication and getting things done, and what should have taken no more than a few weeks has taken 6 months, and we're still not there. The plans are at the town hall, awaiting approval. We were told 2 weeks ago that it would be maximum of 10 days....
My mother is staying at the moment, Daniel has attached himself to the local goat man (and his herd) and Joe is still attached to Scooby Doo.
Still really loving life out here after 6 months, it will be interesting to see how we fare through the winter.
