Hailing from sunny (and colourful) Camden Town with two others, I spend my days cooking large vats of food, 'going for a drink', watching films and theatre and writing about as much of the above as possible.

    Leaving on a jet plane

    Hi everyone,

I've been keeping very quiet about this in the office (to keep a cap on raging co-worker jealousy), but today is my last day in the office before I set off to Sri Lanka with my trusty travel buddy Sophie.

I am so excited I can barely remain seated. And it's so beautifully sunny today it's really got me in the holiday mood.

I've been thinking about all the possibilities this brings for my iVillage Connect groups, and have resolved to:

    1. Poach as many Portuguese-influenced curry recipes as I can for Recipe Zone (along with taste bud tantalising pictures of course)

    2. Take pictures of beautiful fauna and flora for House of Horticulture (apparently they'll be lots)

    3. Take pictures of any interesting art work and crafts for Craft Corner, and see if I can steal any new and exotic ideas that we can try

See you in a couple of weeks.

While you're on holiday i'm going to hide all your stuff. Possibly disguise it under a big knitted tea cosy. The only flaw in my plan is that i can't knit. I guess i have 3 weeks to learn...

It only took you 3 odd lines to mention Sri Lanka - good going!! Take it you are looking forward to your trip??? (no this rather sarcy comment has nothing to do with Jelousy, NOTHING I TELL YOU!)
