    Getting Impatient

    I am now officially 9 days overdue and despite us issuing junior with a verbal eviction notice it has been ignored :-(   Well, last night I thought this could be it, I started with period like cramps / Braxton Hicks / Contractions every twenty minutes lasting for about a minute.  They were painful enough to stop me in my tracks now and then and keep me awake all night.  I could have set my watch to them they were that regular.   After a restless night with only a bit of sleep I got up at 9am and took a nice refreshing shower.  Now I've only had a couple of them for the rest of the morning they have more or less stopped.  Luckily I persuaded DF to go to work this morning as he didn't want to leave me incase anything happened.  No such luck.   The texts and emails are still coming in thick and fast as is the advice to get things going !!!  I am tempted to take up one friend on the offer to go to the Bingo tonight, which is a stone's throw from the hospital, to see if the excitement helps !!!  I just wish I could sit still long enough to go lol.  I'm sure people think I have just forgotten to keep them updated and that includes family.   I ordered my shopping online to be delivered yesterday in the hope that I would tempt fate and not be around to collect it but no such luck.   Well I'm off to bounce on my birthing ball and look at baby names to see if I can find some that we can both agree on.

Just stopping in to see how you were doing. I hope things are going smoothly for you and DH. I can't wait to see some pictures of your baby girl. Pretty funny that you and I had our little ones on the same day! I knew there was a reason we started to talk outside of Ivillage!
