    leos first injections

    Sunday, August 19th, 2007, 11:58 am

hi got leos ,first injections apparently there is two now and in the legs.hope he will be ok.got them on 22nd,he will be 8wks and 1 day.let you know afterwards.hope his sleeping at night gets better,he takes a while to settle off.somtimes we have to lie him on our chests to nurse him o sleep or i rock and pat his bum.he takes 5 1/2 ouz of milk.we have tried increasing it but he will not take all, sometimes he sleeps for 1 hour then wants more.or just stays awake until he fall asleep,he fights sleep.we have tried the leave to cry method but he gets in a state also it wakes our daughter up.he does suffer with colic we use infacol.we have a routine, but leo is mostly ready for bed at 6 to 7pm,usuallys goes down at 7 to 8pm.sophie goes to bed lovely.she does not mind going to bed before leo as leo sometimes wakes up before she goes to bed.sophie was a good baby and had no problems going to bed at leos age is was when she moved to her own room we had to nurse her to bed,and then we got her out of it the cry method which did work and only took a few days, but my mother in law kept stroking her hand ,even now if she goes to grandmas or if we go out she does it,sophie is not stupid though she tells grandma you can do that cause you are my grandma.so my mother in law has made a rod for her own back.as she complains to me saying i wish i could do what you do but sophie will not let me.anyway i do not go back to work until feb,and only part time so it may be only once a week this will hapen as i do shifts as my hubby does,i hope she does not start leo as she wilo notice it again as kids are switched on.anyway keep you posted.p.s leo sleeps better in the morning and if we go out in pushchair or car,but we do not want to start driving midle of night. love mich
