First timer
Wow ... my first ever blog.
When I was younger I made a couple of attempts to keep a diary but wasn't very good at it. Hopefully I'll keep this going a little longer.
I'm a wife to J and mother to a daughter, who's at university and a teenage son. I have a full time job in IT, currently working in project management. In the evenings and weekends I try to compensate for being stuck in an office all day by spending as much time as I can in the garden.
My daughter is studying for a degree in wildlife conservation or, as my husband puts it, she's a 'tree hugger'. I'm really proud of her and I hope that we had some influence in her wanting to save the planet. My son is a talented musician who amazes me every time I hear him play. You can probably tell that I'm a very proud mum.
When I get some free time I try to divide it between genealogy, knitting, crochet, mosaic and playing piano. Sometimes there just don't seem to be enough hours in the day. LOL
