Hows the house looking?
Oooh, its bank holiday weekend.
Time to swarm the DIY shops, buy things we dont need, declutter our homes, spring clean, make repairs, weed the garden, cut the grass and plant new plants.
OR to sit in the garden having a cold glass of wine and watch the neighbourhood go by...
OR to just catch up with family and see old friends.
I shall be doing a bit of each. My garden is finished, my garage is getting emptier, my spare room is starting to resemble a spare room and I tidied my bedroom today in under 4 minutes! Not bad eh?
However I still cant see my front room for toys -I mean how many toys does a 2.2 year old need? I need Anthea or my mum to come in and make my home tidier, and I desperately need a storage solution for my lounge. Trouble is all his toys are so damn BIG. Its great he gets/ got so many presents, but i have to find homes for them all.
Time to be inovative and think outside of boxes I think, especially as the living room is being decorated on Tuesday in (wait for it) Dark Chocolate on the feature wall and White Chocolate on the others. Its from the Opulance and Indulgance range at B&Q (http://www.craigandrose.com/brands/opulence/detail?colour=DARKCHOCOL) and I have to say I was sold purely on the names!! Add in the thought of my living area being Opulant and Indulgant :-)) and I am in my element. No hand woven reed mats for me!!
Ahh the British Bank Holiday. Nothing quite like it is there?
