With less than a week to go of this year's Big Brother, there is a distinct feeling in the air that the whole BB merry-go-round could be grinding to a halt.
With arguably the least interesting series in BB history poised to fizzle out and following the announcement that Channel 4 will not be doing Celebrity Big Brother next year, one wonders if this is the beginning of the end.
Indeed, reports are rife that the face of Big Brother, Davina McCall, will call it a day after this series and I doubt Dermot O'Leary would miss it with all the other gigs he's got.
But, more importantly, there just seems to be a lack of appetite for it this year, which is a shame because I, along with millions of others, loved the first few series'.
I suppose TV people being TV people, they had to mess about with the format and that's where the problems started.
Of course, I could be completely off the mark and Big Brother may go from strength to strength from here on in.
But I doubt it.
Anyway, Kara-Louise and Tracey were given the boot on Friday, meaning Jonty, Liam, Ziggy, Carole, Brian and the twins go into the final week.
Brian was previously a dead cert to win but bookmakers have reportedly taken a hatful of bets on both Liam and the twins.
