    Grommets

    Thursday, June 7th, 2007, 7:03 am

blimey its been over a month since I last posted....not for any exciting reason unfortunately. We have had gastroenteritis and bronchitis for the LO which meant we missed BIL wedding and DH was going to be best man so that was very upsetting. Not as upsetting as LO not eating and barely drinking for 3 days and having the thought of a hospital visit to re-hydrate him hanging over us. 4 days later he is in the hospital having grommets fitted to have the ear infections sorted out. I never want to go through that again - he was absolutely fine but as a parent holding your child as they get put under and then go all floppy is not an experience to repeat. Still when he came round he demanded food, ate his body weight in spagbol and they discharged us early....I knew a good appetite would have some reward :)
