Well that didn't take long. Daniel was being a pain and refusing to get dressed so I left him in the bedroom. After about 5 minutes good sense got the better of me and I remembered why he should never be left alone upstairs. True to form, the P & P was open, the free lipstick I got with it was smeared all over the sink, the day cream and night cream pots were open too. Grrrr why do they do it? Luckily my Ozkleen sooned cleaned up the lippy.
And Daniel has a lovely soft face.........

I made a chocolate cake yesterday!! OK, I know that doesn't sound like much, but. although I'm a not-bad cook, baking is not my forte. With a bit of 'help' from Daniel (Joe was too busy watching telly), I managed it. With jam in the middle and covered in dark chocolate. I even lined the tins as Auntie Delia said.
And it's not bad!!! The boys don't seem interested though, oh well, all the more for me!!
There goes my 'bikini challenge'.......

I had a spa day on Friday at a local posh hotel/country club. Dp got me a voucher for my birthday in November and it expires this month, so thought I'd better use it up, and I'm so glad I did! I started with a full body massage, which was gorgeous and lasted a full hour. Then as an extra I opted for a facial. which included a hand, neck and shoulder massage. I swear it made a difference, and when dp met me for lunch he said I looked great. He suggested I get a facial every month. Not sure how to take that!!
After lunch it was swim and jacuzzi time, and then a pedicure, which I've never had in my life. I have also not painted my toenails since I was about 17, and now have lovely pearly fuschia pink toes!! The boys are most amused.
I could do that so much more often if time and money were no object. Of course the place was full of middle aged (like me) 'ladies who lunch' who all knew each other. I don't think I could ever be one of those!
All in all a fabby relaxing day!
