My Holiday by Hannah aged 2 years and 5 weeks Saturday Today we had a long drive in the special holiday car with Grandma, Grandad and Mummy driving. Daddy followed us in grandma's car. We finally got to the cottage after getting lost lots and lots.The holiday house is really nice with big windows where you can see hills and the sea and a beach. It also has lots of rooms with beds in, one room for Grandma and Grandad, two extra ones and one upstairs for me Mummy and Daddy. I get really scared looking out of the windows as it is really really dark with no lights to see, then I hear lots of big bangs and I cry. Mummy says it is fireworks but I don't like it. I sleep with Mummy and Daddy as I am still scared. Sunday Today we go to the sea zoo which makes Mummy and Daddy laugh and they say it is a bit rubbish - just like it would have been 30 years ago. But I see some fish and star fish. It rains a bit today but it doesn't matter as we are inside. I go to sleep in my own bed tonight as I am very tired, but I only stay there till about midnight then i wake up and see how dark it is and need a cuddle from Mummy. Monday We go for a walk today around the local village - I fell asleep in my pushchair and wake up to find everybody else eating ice cream!!!!!!!!We go home and have some lunch then we go to the beach.WOW i love the beach, we build some sandcastles and I go in the sea. Grandma falls down with all her clothes on and Mummy laughs and laughs. Then i sit in it with all my clothes on and Mummy and Daddy do that smiling thing at each other. Then Mummy takes me and puts my sun suit on. TuesdayWe go on a little train and I get to climb in some other trains with Daddy. Yay we then go to the beach again but Daddy doesn't come. WednesdayMummy, Grandma and Garndad take me to see a big castle and I have my picture taken in the same spot as Mummy did when she was little. ThursdayToday we went to a place called Portmerion, our cottage is really near it, in-fact it is on the old portmerion road, so we walked and Grandad took his scooter and raced off and left us. The beach looked really lovely and i wanted to go in the swimming pool. Then we went home, had lunch and went back to the beach. FridayToday we went to the beach for the full day. We played in the rock pools and made sandcastles. It was really really sunny and Mummy ended up looking a bit burnt. Grandad took his scooter and raced up and down the beach. It is a special beach where you can take your car on, which meant i could take lots and lots of buckets and spades. SaturdayWe have to pack up and get ready to go home today. I picked up all my teddies and put them in the bag. Another long car ride but this time we stopped at a special exciting place, THE ZOO. We all walk round and see lots and lots of animals. Then we have another long drive in the car and we are finally home.at bedtime i scream and scream because I liked it in Mummy's bed but it doesn't work and I sleep all night in my own Noddy bed. The cutlery fairy. We were meant to be going out for lunch so I went to get Hannah a spoon and fork to take. After searching the draw I found the following:
Noddy Spoon - fork missing
Ballerina Knife - fork & Spoon missing
Tommee Tippe Knife - spoon & fork missing
Harry Potter Knife & fork - Spoon missing
She did manage to have a boots spoon and fork (knife seen recently but missing at mo) and a Noddy spoon and fork (Only complete set!!!)
Where have they all gone. So I have bought a travel set with case and 2 x 4 piece sets ALL of ebay. Lets just see how long these stay around. Now the only thing is, if i throw out the oddments - will all the other bits reappear????????????
Oh well rant over.

PS we haven't gone out for lunch as all the roads around here are either flooded or grid locked.

This is just exactly how I feel, I still can't get onto any message boards. I don't know if it is me (my laptop) or ivillage. Can you beleive the weather we are having? It has been raining for the past 24 hours, we have floods all over the place round here, at the bottom of the road and all around. I went to the dr's today and had my cd22 bloods taken (I know should be CD21 but they don't do them on a Sunday). Just to find out how everything is going in my body. When my Mum found out I had had a blood test, I told her it was just routine - she said "they don't do routine blood tests" "ARE YOU PREGNANT" But she said it in such a way it was an attack an accusation. It really hurt, but then my Mum is about as sensitive as a plank of wood. Just a week to wait for the results, plus AF is due before then so maybe...... you never know I might be lucky.

Hello
I can't believe it is weeks since I even logged on here. Just shows how busy I am or how lazy I am.
Not a great deal to report, Hannah is getting better with her language everyday, stringing more and more words together.
The other day she was trying to re stick some pictures to her bedroom wall (which she had just pulled off) and started shouting "HELP" "DADDY HELP" which was quite funny.
My favourite things shes says has to be "minute" which is complete with wagging finger. "Allright" when she has hurt herself and "all better". It us just s amazing how quickly they pick words up. Oh she also knows "naughty" now and has started telling the cats that they are "naughty".
Hannah has been in her big bed now for 10 nights and all has been great. She doesn't seem to have figured that she can get out. During the day she happily climbs in nd out but on a night she just stays put, also she just shouts Mummy on a morning.
I've just Noddyfied her bedroom with curtains and quilt cover, looks all very cute now. I have managed to keep some pink in the room, finding noddy stuff with a pink background.

Hello
Well we did our bank holiday family thing today. Took Hannah and her big sister to Harewood House to meet Noddy, Big Ears, Mr Plod, Gobo and tessie bear. As Hannah is a huge Noddy fan we thought she might like it. Her face just was just a total picture when she saw them, lots of older kids were screaming but Hannah just ploughed on in to get close to her beloveds.
Pity it cost the rip off amount of £32 for 2 adults and 1 student (Hannah was free).
Anyway we took a picnic and played on the swings, Daddy bought her a balloon and a Noddy swim bag so everyone was happy.
Just took Carrie home (big sister) and poor Daddy was feeling more and more poorly he is now laid out on the sofa, not sure how ill he really is with him being a man and all.
