Wow, I get to go and buy a new wardrobe today for work. I can't remember the last time I went out and bought myself new clothes. The job starts on Monday and I am getting nervous. I've been looking over the course material, but when I read it over and try the self exams I am finding that very little is sticking in there and I can't answer most of the questions. I am hoping that now that my finances are sorted out I can relax enough to sit and study.

OMG, what a huge course load I have now. I read through the first chapter and tried a self exam and I couldn't remember a blessed thing :S. I thought I'd be ready to write my exam by the end of June but I will be lucky to be ready for the end of July I think. Why couldn't it be more interesting...lmao.
Little one is loving going to the childminder's. She is almost fully potty trained this week too. No nappy all day long and her pull up was bone dry this morning when she woke up! I am so pleased with her progress and she is sooo proud of herself.
Going out shopping today to buy some new clothes to start my new job in on Monday. It's amazing the changes that someone can make to their life in less than a month.

I've made a lot of changes since I hung up my shield last month. I had my hair done and it is a light brown now with blond streaks in it and I love it. The greys are gone and I look 10 years younger.
I did my walk for ALS. I managed 10K (6 miles) and even though I came in last, I was proud of myself for finishing it. In total we raised 17,500.00 for reseach and patient support which is awesome. I've decided to join the committee for next years walk and help find corporate sponsership. My MIL is sick with this disease and although she is fading very quickly, was very proud of me for doing this in her honour.
My little one has started at the daycare and I have a new career starting. I have been hired in one of the leading insurance companies in Canada and they are sending me to school to obtain my level 1 and 2 license to sell. I have my very own desk, name plate and business cards. WOO HOO. I think this is going to work out to be an awesome opportunity, and I am so excited.
