GRRRRRRR These god damn pop ups are doing my head in!!!!! No I don't love Snack A Jacks!!?? Anyway that wasn't my reason for a blog, haven't done one in over a week so thought I would update. Am at work at the moment, third 12hr day out of four so last one tomorrow yippee. No word yet on who and when the redundancies are going to affect, I still think I am going to be one of the ones that will be going but have heard there could be other jobs in other depts so as long as I fit in with DPs shifts all may not be so bad, it would be nice not to have to work Christmas, Easter, bank holidays etc etc.
Didn't do anything on my last days off, six in total, but hey that's another story lol! DP is on holiday Friday so hopefully we will make the most of his days off, weather permitting will go to the zoo farm if not we have a soft play centre which we could take the girls to. Hopefully then in the evening his parents can babysit so we can go out and have a few beers.

And as it is sooooo nice I booked off two nights at work! Well and the fact that it is DPs Birthday tomorrow.
We all had a great day today, went to Toys R Us and bought the girls a Little Tikes slide come climbing frame thingy in pink mmmmm love pink! The girls love it too! Also bought them a little table and chairs set, none in pink so had to make do with purple! Oh and a VTech tree activity thing which they will have when they get bored of their other new stuff. Had a pub lunch and sat outside on the way home then got the paddling pool out this afternoon which we put warm water in, the girls loved that too so they have had a really good day and were well knackered at bedtime. Also got them some sunnies and a new hat each but only Jasmine will wear them, Jessica was not impressed.
We are going to Noahs Ark zoo tomorrow and taking a picnic which we are all looking forward too, hopefully we will see lots of animals. DP has gone down the pub to watch Liverpool, we'd arraged for his mum to babysit but I didn't fancy going out so I shall be having a shower and a nice early night shortly.

Well, had our meetings at work yesterday and all is not good. We are loosing 7 out of 19 staff, DPs dept is loosing 6 out of 12, there are further 8 going from other depts, this is all that we know of at present. They are not allowing voluntary redundancy, it will be based on a skills system. I am last but one in my dept so I guess I shall be going but as they are proposing changing all our shifts so even if I don't get made redundant I shall have to leave as my shifts will no longer fit in with DPs. Thankfully DP is top dog in his dept so he should be ok. We will find out who and when during a 30 day consultation period. So I am actively looking for a new job - just in case!

Well it's my last one today hoooorrrrrrraaaaaayyyyyy!! For four days anyway. My blogs are so boring, as they are only ever on about my first shift or my last shift! There is a big meeting at work tomorrow to discuss what is happening to our site, whether it will close and we all get made redundant or if just some of us will be made redundant. I'm not too bothered really either way as it is not a nice place to work, there seems to be more Managers than workers and they are totally incompetent. DP works here too so could be a BIG problem if we both loose our jobs! But hey ho what's meant to be is meant to be. DP is on nights tomorrow night so at least we can do some 'family' things during the afternoons, other than that, have nothing planned except ironing and housework. Well that's about it for me and my exciting life! xXx

Well here we are then back to work for four 12 hour days of fun, fun, fun...........not. Started the day at 05.15, counting down til 17.15! Have just had a nice fry-up down the canteen so that's set me up for the day which surprisingly is very busy, so no moaning that I am bored! So that's all my excitement for the day I'm afraid. Oh I do have one thing to add - Jessica's new word is BACKPACK!!! How sweet is that? Too much Dora me thinks! Anyway habe a lovely weekend everyone xxx
