Stefani blames baby for writer's block
It happened to John Lennon, Bob Dylan - even Rick Astley.
No matter how much of a lyrical genius a person may be, nobody is immune from an attack of writer's block.
Now, Gwen Stefani has admitted she is struggling to create magic after getting back together with her band, No Doubt.
She said: 'It's great to be back together, but songwriting's a bit slow on my part - it may have something to do with the baby.'
Hmm, let's have a quick reminder of some of her best efforts of recent times:
'High on the hills with the lonely goat herd, lay-od-lay-od-lay-he-hoo
Yodell back with the girl and goat herd, lay-od-lay-od-low...
Wind it up
Wind it up, uh, uh, uh, uh
Yodellay, yodallay, yodal-low...'
Thank god she had a baby.
