Madonna would be Flop Idol

Shane Ritchie's wifeMadonna reckons she wouldn't make it on talent show American Idol because of her distinctive singing voice.

She said: 'I went to a lot of auditions for musical theatre and conventional mainstream things and I always got cut immediately. So I'm pretty sure the same thing would happen to me.'

I'm almost certain she wouldn't be over the moon about Simon Cowell taking 80 per cent of her earnings either...
