Bono to get spicy
He's worked with some of the most iconic figures from the world music - Luciano Pavarotti, BB King and Lou Reed, to name but a few.
Now, according to The Mirror, U2 lead singer Bono is to collaborate with The Spice Girls.
Rather like asking Michelangelo if he's free to creosote your garden shed.
Apparently, record label bosses have become 'increasingly jittery' about how the girls' new album will perform and so enlisted Bono's help.
The paper claims that Posh is already 'close' to Bono, which probably means they met once at a premiere and had their photo taken together.
'A source' adds: 'It might seem unusual with the Spice Girls' pop roots and the much more rockier work of Bono, but it works.
'There's been a bit of unease as to how the album will perform and if there's still a solid Spice Girls' fanbase out there. However, Bono's involvement has lifted the whole camp.'
The article concludes by suggesting a possible on-stage collaboration during the Spice Girls' forthcoming tour.
Please, please please....DON'T DO IT!
