Baby Show!

Friday, May 18th, 2007, 2:04 pm

Hello!

We went to the Baby Show in Birmingham last weekend, it was ace!  The hotel waws really nice, I was quite suprised as from the photos on the net, it looked like some sort of motel where people get murdered and hacked up in, in American films!  But it was really nice, and the girls ate free too which was a bonus, starting off our freebie weekend there!

The show was really good, ended up with a boot load of stuff and only bought a toy farm, some shoes and a little first aid kit.  We got loads of washing powder & conditioner, nappies, wipes, face cream, got some water filters, a comfort pink doll.. ummm oh some weird folders from pampers (if anyone knows what they are let me know) with tape measures... lots!

After the show we went back and had a swim, and had to relax!  I actually got muscles in my arms from carrying bags!

The next day we went to the Bullring to have krispy kreme doughnuts and to meet my fellow cl, Ami (cl-pohfurray).  It was great fun to meet her, though quite strange when you've spent all your time just chatting via msn.  Weird to use real words and exercise my voicebox!  She had one of her gorgeous girlies with her and her lovely hubby, and I had my two trashing the spot and trying to rearrange the seating.  Ho hum.

And how do service stations get away with charging so much for crappy food?!?!
