I'm 18, at art college in London, lived in Rutland most of my life, am a country girl at heart, never even lived in a town before let alone a city, so London is a bit of a shock! I know, that does seem pretty silly. Metal being a conductor of heat and all that. I have to admit though that I haven't come across a saucepan with a metal handle. Maybe its an apearance thing- they look more chic in metal?
