Oh I am so proud of ourselves! lol. Our wee veggie patch is thriving and we have just picked out first cucumbers and lettuces and they actually taste normal! Shocker!

We also have Aubergine, radish, beetroot, rhubarb (i think), carrots, peppers, strawberries and even a canteloupe melon plant! Very curious to see if this amounts to anything! We also have two apple trees (one cooking apples, one normal apples), a plum tree and a pear tree! Sounds like our garden is acres but it's not.

So I figure some pigs and chickens are next eh?? lol The good life here we come!

. . . . off to buy some wellies!!

Good for you girl! I want to start growing some veggies too, but am yet to work up the energy to do anything about it - story of my life :-).

Well done on the veggies! I've grown some lettuce, cucumber, carrots and cabbages for the first time this year and was amazed when I tentatively tried the cucumber and lettuce and they didn't taste foul! xx
