This morning at 10.30 am i was stood in my wellies in the town beck. not just some random bank holiday fun no no no this had a purpose and a reason! For today was DUCK RACE DAY! 174 yellow plastic ducks serenley floating down the beck at a leisurely pace. The crowd went wild (all 10 of them) as the ducks plodded under the finish line

Flag it:went to the plant fair yesterday, the weather for once was kind to us. about time too for the last 2 years it has poured down on us.this year it was glorious and as we were in te grounds of a statley home, you can guess at the views. the deer park is wonderful and the pond was full of tadpoles. sold quite a few plants but didnt buy any. a shock for my husband as i often bring as many back as i have sold.
nearly forgot my nephews birthday just forgot to give him his card the day before. he forgave me and gave me a big hug not bad for one just turned ten.

got weighed today and after last weeks euphoria, i am down in the dumps. i have staid the same, well at least you havnt put it on ,i here you cry. i know what you mean but i thought that been on holiday from work i would be able to do more exercise and eat more senseably. ihave i well you can guess and having a bad back can no longer count as an excuse. so i will give myself a good talking to and get on with living and not constantly thinking about food.
thanks for the comments girls and yes the tension is going it might take another massage but i can live with that!!. the pain in the but is also going slowly.
today is a day of housework so i really must get on and do it, as so far this week i'v done very little to say i'm on holiday i dont seem to have a lot of time to do anything.
im just off for a massage as iv got a bad back, dont laugh but i fell off an exercise ball last friday and landed on my bottom. well you can guess it was rather sore, now the whole of my back is bad with tension, so im off to get sorted.then im off to the gym if possible depends on how i feel or if the physio says i can.
if the weather behaves i might get the lawns cut as well.
