well i'm back and didn't want to come home!

I have just spent the last week on a coach tour of southern Ireland. The weather was fine but overcast most of the time.

The highlight for me was a trip to Blarney Castle. No I didn't kiss the stone, there were too many americans queing for that privilage, and anyway I can already talk the hind legs off a donkey lol.

We have been all over Cork.Cobh. Kinsale, Cashel and a few others as well. The only disapointment is that Ireland has lost a lot of its charm, due to all the building work going on, there must be thousands of miles of new roads, shops, and hotels.

please have a look  at the photos, the wishing steps are supposed to grant wishes to those who go up and down backwards with their eyes shut!. I will let you know if my wish comes true,as I did it.

I am rather pleased with myself in  way as I have only put on 4lbs in weight , I thought it would be more as we've seem to have done nothing but eat and more so drink!!!

joined up

Sunday, September 2nd, 2007, 4:39 am

I have joined the lose 1lb a week to christmas challenge over on the diet and fitness boards and am looking forward to it. My whole sense of well being and trying to do the best for `me` that left me over the summer has returned.

I am now looking towards a fitter healthier happier me.

to this end i have promise myself a massage when i have lost half a stone, so i had better get off my butt and do some exercise - walking the dogs today gym tomorrow.

next week will be a problem though as i am on a coach trip to Ireland, where the `food`comes in a glass! oh well will just have to walk everywhere.

another week

Sunday, August 19th, 2007, 8:21 am

another week has gone by and have i lost any weight? no but i havnt put on any either horay.

I have had a horrible week , have been fed up and miserable with myself.pmt has a lot to answer for! as i told a friend yesterday i am going back to basics with what i eat. we have an allotment full of good wholesome food and do you know what i`v been doing putting it in a cupboard and saveing it for later! when later arrives its all gone rotton the cupboard smells and i feel like i`v wasted my time growing the stuff in the first place - so much for saving it for a rainy day.

guess what it is raining so this afternoon i am going to curl up with my knitting and watch a rom com.

next week will be an extra busy one for me  so next weekend all i will want to do is sleep, thats a thought an afternoon nap. its either that or half an hours yoga to wake me up. will let you know which on won.lol.

just a quick update

I have had another busy weekend.I finished work at 2pm on saturday and went straight to the showfield, my mum and sister had a stall for the weekend. We were selling homemade cakes and preserves. Apart from 5 baby size jars we sold 150 jars of assorted jams and chutneys, the cakes had mostly gone by the time I arrived  on Saturday afternoon.

The grand total was £463. Frances is now well over halfway to her target for her charity walk on the great wall of china.

got to go a training sesson awaits (walking the dogs as they didnt get a long one yesterday)
