Farewell four-eyes???
You can't tell from the picture of me on this blog, but I am a spectacle wearer. Have been since the age of 9. I've had a whole array of glasses ranging from some complete shockers (I blame not being able to see when choosing my frames) through to the chunky black rimmed DKNY's that I currently sport. I've had an on off relationship with contact lenses too which seems to be more off than on these days. If I wear them for the whole day I wind up looking tired and my eyes feel scratchy. Not a good look.
Tomorrow - all that changes (hopefully). I've been hearing all about the joys and life-changing capabilities of laser eye surgery for years, but up until now, I've been too scared to try it. But, after extensive(ish) research and encouragement from friends and family who've had it done, I've decided to go for it. My appointment's at Optical Express Laser Clinic in Harley Street is scheduled for 1pm. Of course, I'm nervous about having my eyes sliced open. Who wouldn't be? But my excitment way out weighs my nerves. Wish me luck everyone.
I'll let you know how I get on.
